This year we are offering three dates during the peak of three different seasons for a different experience during each hunt. The 2026 dates are:
-Sunday, May 17
-Sunday, July 12
-Sunday, September 20
Learn to locate and identify wild mushrooms and wild edible and medicinal plants with Steve Haas. Group hunts are conducted on Sundays from 9:30AM till 11:30AM beginning in April at HaaShrooms Mushroom Farm in Goochland County and are open to the public. These hunts are extremely popular and fill quickly! The cost is $75 per participant. Fun for the whole family!! Cancellations are nonrefundable. All cancelled hunts will be rescheduled.
Hunts are conducted at 5750 Jabez Lane Goochland, Virginia 23063. Participants should arrive before 9:15 AM. We suggest you bring bottled water and bug spray! We do not collect any mushrooms on group hunts. If you are interested in learning more and keeping all found fungi, join Steve for a private hunt.
